So young, so lovely: wedding photo reportage for a British couple in Venice

British couple walking in Venice during wedding photo reportage
This young British couple chose an intimate and simple wedding in Venice and reached the wedding venue on foot.

A young British couple lately hired me as their wedding photograph. We met at their hotel in Venice: it is called 3749 Ponte Chiodo out of the nearby bridge, one of the only two bridges in the city without rails.

I made some photographs of the bride and groom getting ready, took some more couple portraits in the garden, then we strolled towards Palazzo Cavalli.

Palazzo Cavalli, venue for civil weddings in Venice, offers a gorgeous view on the Canal Grande from its terrace.

This is an ancient palace near Rialto bridge available as venue for civil wedding ceremonies in Venice. The couple enjoyed a simple and very intimate atmosphere: no guest was there and I captured the tenderness shining in all their gestures and glances.

Tenderness was shining in all the gestures I captured in this wedding photo service in Venice.

After making their wedding photo reportage in the ceremony hall, I took some more couple photographs on the palace’s terrace with a gorgeous view on the Canal Grande.

Then we made an informal photo walk in Venice with the couple enjoying an ice-cream and exploring the Rialto market before going back to the hotel.

After the photo reportage of the wedding ceremony we took an informal photo walk in Venice.

I took some more photos of the bride and the groom relaxing in the garden and even captured their entering the room for their first night as a married couple.

Back in the hotel I shot some more informal couple portraits in a relaxed atmosphere.
