A young British couple lately hired me as their wedding photograph. We met at their hotel in Venice: it is called 3749 Ponte Chiodo out of the nearby bridge, one of the only two bridges in the city without rails.
I made some photographs of the bride and groom getting ready, took some more couple portraits in the garden, then we strolled towards Palazzo Cavalli.
This is an ancient palace near Rialto bridge available as venue for civil wedding ceremonies in Venice. The couple enjoyed a simple and very intimate atmosphere: no guest was there and I captured the tenderness shining in all their gestures and glances.
After making their wedding photo reportage in the ceremony hall, I took some more couple photographs on the palace’s terrace with a gorgeous view on the Canal Grande.
Then we made an informal photo walk in Venice with the couple enjoying an ice-cream and exploring the Rialto market before going back to the hotel.

I took some more photos of the bride and the groom relaxing in the garden and even captured their entering the room for their first night as a married couple.
