Sometimes, the best moments in life come when you least expect them. I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful love story when a couple, newly engaged in Florence, contacted me last minute for an engagement photoshoot in Venice. With no proposal photos planned, they sought a romantic, off-the-beaten-path experience in Venice—the next city on their travel itinerary. This impromptu session turned into a memorable celebration of love in one of the world’s most enchanting cities.

The Perfect City for a Last-Minute Engagement Session:

When I received the couple’s request, I knew Venice was the perfect backdrop for their love story. Despite being a city famous for its grand landmarks and bustling canals, Venice also offers quiet corners that exude romance. Rather than opting for the usual crowded tourist spots like Piazza San Marco or the Rialto Bridge, we decided to explore a quieter, more intimate side of Venice that lovers truly cherish.

Off the Beaten Path – A Romantic Stroll:
Our session began as we strolled through Venice’s narrow streets, lined with historic buildings and hidden canals. The couple embraced the charm of the lesser-known areas, where time seemed to slow down, allowing them to savor each moment together.
