Working as a professional portrait and weddingphotographer I often come across couples shining with happiness and almost ‘filled’ with passion. Lately it was the turn of Courtney and Kari, an American couple, whose feelings were not second to any other couple I have ever worked for but as a change from the usual routine they were both female.
Italy is not yet a country were to celebrate same-sex weddings but for honeymoons is an awesome destination.
This Russian couple made the most of high water and enjoyed a special honeymoon photo shooting in Venice dancing and playing in the flooded Piazza San Marco.
High water is a common event in Venice, especially from October to December. But you can run into it (or rather… walk into it! ) even in springtime. It is mostly due to an unlucky combination of several factors, such as bad weather, tides, winds and artificial digging works which influence the water in the Venetian lagoon and allow the seawater to flood the city in a short while.
There are many places where you can enjoy a break during your visit in Venice, or during a photo service (be it an engagement, wedding or honeymoon photo shooting): the city has many cafés, bars or restaurants where you can drink or eat at any hour of the day and most of the night.
