Black-and-white photos get rid of the ‘noise’ of color and focus on the subject’s body shapes with a kind of ‘out of time’ flavour.

Photo portrayals are more than images: they are mirrors of a person’s distinctive physical characteristics, personality and feelings in a given situation.

By using different photographic techniques one can portray a person’s unique traits while meeting his or her own taste.

So young, so lovely: wedding photo reportage for a British couple in Venice

This young British couple chose an intimate and simple wedding in Venice and reached the wedding venue on foot.

A young British couple lately hired me as their wedding photograph. We met at their hotel in Venice: it is called 3749 Ponte Chiodo out of the nearby bridge, one of the only two bridges in the city without rails.

On my way to a honeymoon photo service at sunset, I met by chance a music band entertaining the passer-byes. Two violinist players and a singer were performing music pieces making up a charming and melodious scene.

I was lately hired by a young couple from Kazakhstan who spent a few days in Venice before their wedding and treated themselves with a pre-wedding photo service. I suggested shooting the couple portraits at sunrise and pick them up at the hotel very early in the morning.

Beautiful Anastasia and her “brand-new” husband came to Venice for a short vacation and hired me as honeymoon photographer. We began the photo walk  in the afternoon and headed to some of the many  romantic spots of the city to make some intense couple photo portraits.
