This 5-year-long Russian couple treated themselves with a photo walk in Venice and I had the chance to shoot very romantic photographs.

“Let me not to the marriage of true minds Admit impediments

Love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds,

Or bends with the remover to remove: O no! it is an

ever-fixed mark That looks on tempests and is never shaken”

The couple enjoyed kissing in small alleys, on bridges or under arcades in Venice.

These words of Sonnet 116 by Shakespeare came to my mind during the photo walking tour I made with a 5-year-long married couple. The majority of the couples hiring me for a photo shooting in Venice are engaged couples enjoying a pre-wedding travel or just-married couples visiting the city during their honeymoon.

It is instead less common to have a married couple treating themselves with such a nice present as romantic photo walk.

The couple agreed upon resting in a traditional Venetian wine bar (bacaro) where they drank a couple of wine glasses.

This Russian couple really enjoyed the experience: they agreed upon visiting the less known areas of Venice, local shops and even a traditional “bacaro” (wine bar).

But what made their photo shooting a very special and romantic one was the passion that shined in their eyes and enlightened their faces. They enjoyed kissing and hugging on bridges, along small alleys and under arcades.

The couple enjoyed visiting local shops such as one selling traditional Venetian glassware.

They were the living proof that

Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come,
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom” W.S.

They even enjoyed jumping during our pleasant and romantic photo walk in Venice.
